Yogurt Pasta Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 large onion chopped finely
  • 1 liter of frsh yogurt.
  • 1 tea spoon salt
  • 1 tea spoon black pepper
  • 1 tea spoon mixed spices
  • 7 table spoons olive oil
  • 2 table spoons of parsley chopped
  • 2 table spoons cilantro leaves chopped

Directions:

  1. Heat 4 table spoons of olive oil in a pan. Add the onions and fry until golden brown.
  2. Add the meat, salt, pepper, mixed spices and sugar. Cook for 20 minutes, mixing frequently. Remove and keep a side.
  3. Meanwhile, boil water with 2 table spoons salt and 2 table spoons olive oil. When boiling add the spaghetti cut in half. Mix immediately so the pasta will not stik to each other. When almost done strain and put a side.
  4. In a clean pan add one table spoon olive oil and fry the pasta for one minute, add the cooked ground beef, mix well, add the yogurt, crushed garlic and mix well on medium heat for 5 minutes. Add the parsley, cilantro and diced capsicum. Keep stiring for one more minute or until the yogurt sauce is thick enough.
  5. Remove of the stove and let cool at room temperature. Then refrigerate and serve cold.
  6. Enjoy a fresh summer dish.
