Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cook the kidney beans until semi-tender.
  2. In the meantime, brown the ground beef until no longer pink.
  3. Add the diced onions, salt, black pepper and cook a few minutes longer.
  4. Then sprinkle the chili powder over the ground meat and stir to mix.
  5. Add the diced tomatoes and the tomato sauce and the cooked beans with a little of the cooking liquid (about 1/2 cup).
  6. Add the chili flakes and stir well. simmer for about an hour to 1 1/2 hrs until beans are tender. You can add a little more chili flakes if you like it spicier.
