Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper (or to taste)
  • 1/3 cup dry crumbs ( bread or crackers)

Directions:

  1. Combine turnip and butter.
  2. Add eggs and beat well.
  3. Stir in flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and pepper.
  4. Mix well to blend.
  5. Put in greased casserole and top with crumbs.
  6. Bake at 375 F for 25 minutes.
