Spiced Mixed Nuts

Ingredients:

  • 2 tsp water
  • 2 (12 oz) cans salted peanuts
  • 1 cup walnut halves
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 3/4-1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup raisins

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, beat egg whites and water until frothy.
  2. Add nuts to bowl and stir to coat.
  3. Mix together sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
  4. Add to nut mixture and stir to coat.
  5. Stir in raisins.
  6. Evenly spread nut mixture into two 15x10 inch baking dishes.
  7. Bake at 300 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned; stir every 10 minutes.
  8. Cool.
  9. Store in airtight containers.
