Pecan Pralines (Old Fashioned)

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine sugar, margarine and milk.
  2. Cook to a soft ball stage.
  3. (when a little placed in a cup of cold water forms a soft ball) Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and pecans.
  4. Stir until it begins to thicken (doesn't take long, will have to work fast).
  5. Drop by tablespoons on waxed paper or buttered dish.
  6. Ready to eat when cooled.
  7. Store remainder in airtight container.
