Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt.
  2. In a small bowl mix well orange peel, juice, oil and egg;
  3. Stir in flour mixture until moistened.
  4. Stir in raisins and nuts.
  5. Spread in well greased 9x5 loaf pan.
  6. Bake in pre-heated, 350 degree oven for 50 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  7. Cool and remove from pan.
  8. This bread is great served with either Orange Honey Butter or Cream Cheese...Enjoy! :)
