Nelson Family Farms Split Pea & Lentil Soup

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups split peas
  • 1 cup lentils
  • 9 cups water
  • 2 lbs ham, diced
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to large stock pot.
  2. Bring to boil.
  3. Lower heat, simmer 60-90 minutes.
  4. Add 1 cup water or chicken broth to thin if desired.
