Mushroom Soup With Noodles

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups mushrooms
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 1/2 liters water
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 (8 oz) package egg noodles
  • 1 tbsp flour

Directions:

  1. Wash the mushrooms and cut them into slices.
  2. Cut the onion and add to a skillet ( with butter and oil ) and cook until tender.
  3. Add the mushrooms and garlic and season with salt and pepper.
  4. In a pot add the water and bullion cubes
  5. Take the skin off of carrots and cut in 2 inch cubes and add to the pot.
  6. When water starts to boil add the mushrooms to the pot and reduce heat.
  7. In a seprate pot cook the pasta.
  8. Add the flour to the soup.
  9. When the carrots become tender the soup is ready.
  10. Note: do not add the noodles to the pot.
