Bread Machine Rolls

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp of softened butter
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp of breadmachine yeast

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients in bread machine in the order listed
  2. Mix on dough cycle
  3. When done turn out onto floured surface
  4. Cut into equal pieces (I usually get 14)
  5. Form into rolls- I usually tuck the dough like I am shaping pizza balls
  6. Parchment lined cookie sheets
  7. Slice an x accross top to allow them to rise
  8. Cover sheets with dishtowel and let rise (about 1/2hr)
  9. Brush with melted butter
  10. Bake at 375-400 for about 15-20 minutes. My oven is off so I have to really watch (and smell) for them.
