Tender Chocolate Waffles

Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 squares chocolate melted
  • or
  • 2 oz baking cocoa with additional 2 tbsp. margarine

Directions:

  1. Combine the dry ingredients and whisk well.
  2. Combine wet ingredients and combine well.
  3. Whisk both mixtures until well combined.
  4. Consistency should be a thickened waffle type batter ..
  5. Follow cooking directions according to your waffle iron.
  6. Serve with syrup and fruit if desired.
  7. Note: watch carefully when cooking so not to burn chocolate
