My Fabulous Meatloaf

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb hamburger (i use turkey burger healthier)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 dash frank's red hot sauce
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp mustard

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In large bowl, put the bread crumbs, onions, pepper, garlic, the Worcestershire sauce, red hot sauce, make a well in the center break the egg, meat and ketchup. Now is when it gets messy - you want to mix all the items together.
  3. Put meatloaf mixture in a greased pan. Smear the topping mixture on top. Place in the preheated oven.
  4. Bake for 50 minutes. When that is done, take out the meatloaf. If you want to, place 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top. Bake till the cheese is melted.
