  2. In blender combine sugar, vinegar, lemon juice, onion and salt.
  3. Cover and process.
  4. With blender running, add oil.
  5. Add poppy seeds and blend.
  6. Pour into container and chill.
  7. Salad:.
  8. In large bowl combine lettuce, cheese, apple, pear and cranberries.
  9. Drizzle with desired amount of dressing.
  10. Add nuts.
  11. Toss and serve immediately.
