Easy Campfire Potatoes   Made in the Oven

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup shredded smoky sharp cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 (12 oz) package frozen hash brown potatoes

Directions:

  1. Sauté onions in butter. Place in shallow one quart baking dish or small skillet, brushed with butter. Add flour, salt,pepper. Mix well; add cheese. Pour milk over cheese top with frozen potatoes.
  2. Cover bake at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes or until potatoes are thawed mix well return to oven uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
