Dill and Potato Cakes

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh dill
  • 2 -3 tbsp milk

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450. Grease a baking sheet.
  2. Sift the flour into a bowl and add the butter, salt and dill.
  3. Mix in the mashed potato and enough milk to make a soft, pliable dough.
  4. Roll out the dough on a well floured surface until fairly thin.
  5. Cut into circles with a 3-inch cutter.
  6. Place the potato cakes on the baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until risen and golden.
