2 cups self rising flour |
3 tablespoons butter |
1 pinch salt |
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh dill |
1 cup mashed potato |
2 -3 tablespoons milk |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450. Grease a baking sheet. 2. Sift the flour into a bowl and add the butter, salt and dill. 3. Mix in the mashed potato and enough milk to make a soft, pliable dough. 4. Roll out the dough on a well floured surface until fairly thin. 5. Cut into circles with a 3-inch cutter. 6. Place the potato cakes on the baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until risen and golden. |
