Ingredients:

  • 6 cups water
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Soak beans in 6 cups of water overnight OR bring to a boil, boil for 2 minutes, then cover and remove from heat. Let set one hour, then proceed.
  2. Cook beans in water until soft, about 1 - 1 1/2 hours. Drain and discard bean water.
  3. Mix together all ingredients in crock pot. Mix well.
  4. Cover and cook on low 10 to 12 hours, stirring occasionally.
