Candied Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 4 to 6 medium sweet potatoes
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 to 1/3 cup corn sprup

Directions:

  1. Peel sweet potatoes and cut into thick slices, about 1 to 1 1/2 inches.
  2. Place in buttered baking dish.
  3. Combine sugar, butter and corn syrup; mix well.
  4. Spoon over sweet potatoes.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
