Ingredients:

  • 500 g beef
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp tarragon
  • 2 cups black beans , presoaked
  • 1/4 cup red wine
  • 1 cup chicken broth (or you can use water if you do not have the broth)
  • water (continually add as beans cook down)

Directions:

  1. Saute onion and garlic.
  2. Brown beef.
  3. Add black beans , red peppers and spices and wine. Add stock.
  4. Transfer to slow cooker on high.
  5. 3. Stir regularly until beans will mash easily.
