Recipe adapted from /recipes-bean/ Ingredients:
500 g beef |
1 onion |
1 red bell pepper, diced |
2 garlic cloves |
1 teaspoon cumin |
1 teaspoon tarragon |
2 cups black beans, presoaked |
1/4 cup red wine |
1 cup chicken broth (or you can use water if you do not have the broth) |
water (continually add as beans cook down) |
salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Saute onion and garlic. 2. Brown beef. 3. Add black beans , red peppers and spices and wine. Add stock. 4. Transfer to slow cooker on high. 5. 3. Stir regularly until beans will mash easily. |
