Wilted Lettuce Salad

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices bacon, cut up
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 8 -10 cups torn leaf lettuce

Directions:

  1. Place lettuce in a big bowl. In a skillet cook bacon until crisp, remove from heat.
  2. Stir in all ingredients into the skillet except lettuce and egg. When sugar is dissolved pour over the salad greens. Top with the egg and serve immediately.
