Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Saute onion and pepper in oil in a large stockpot
  2. Add chili powder once the aromatics have browned. Cook until it sticks to the bottom of the pan a bit.
  3. Add canned tomatoes, cumin oregano, garlic powder and cinnamon. Simmer for a few minutes, scraping the bottom of the pot.
  4. Add beans and simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Add beer and water and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Add salt, splenda and cider vinegar. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Taste for seasoning. Add more heat if desired.
