Turkey Chili With A Kick

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in a 4 quart saucepan until just sizzling.
  2. Add turkey, onion and garlic.
  3. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned (10 to 12 minutes).
  4. Reduce heat to medium.
  5. Stir in all remaining ingredients except green pepper and Cheddar cheese.
  6. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until heated through (25 to 35 minutes).
  7. Stir in green pepper.
  8. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until green pepper is heated through and somewhat softened (3 to 5 minutes).
  9. To serve, spoon chili into bowls and top each serving with at least 2 tablespoons of cheese.
