Spicy Beef with Broccoli

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cut steak into thin slices approximately 1 long and 1/4 wide.
  2. Peel, devein, and chop the shrimp into 1/4-1/2 chunks.
  3. Cut carrots into 1/2 chunks.
  4. Cook brown rice to directions on package.
  5. Whisk rice wine, oyster sauce, and corn starch in a small bowl until dissolved.
  6. Heat 2 tsp of the oil in a skillet over med-high heat.
  7. Add beef and red pepper.
  8. Cook, stirring until meat begins to brown (1-2 minutes).
  9. Add shrimp and continue to cook until shrimp is opaque and pink (1-2 minutes).
  10. Transfer all of this to a plate.
  11. Heat remaining 2 tsp of oil over med-high heat in the same pan.
  12. Add vegetables and cook, stirring until they begin to soften (2-4 minutes).
  13. Stir in sauce.
  14. Add meat to pan, and cook until heated through and sauce starts to thicken (1-2 minutes).
