Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp shortening
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 cups oil

Directions:

  1. Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening until coarse. Mix in water until smooth. Knead lightly. Roll out and cut into squares. Fry until golden in HOT oil.
