Peanut Butter Fingers

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (12 oz) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 2 -4 tbsp milk

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients except the last four.
  2. Press into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
  3. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  4. Let stand 5 minutes or until melted. Spread evenly.
  5. Combine powdered sugar, 1/4 cup peanut butter and milk; Beat well.
  6. Put over chocolate chips.
  7. Cut into 2 1/2 x 3/4 inch pieces.
