Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3/4 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Mix sliced peaches with 1 cup of sugar and set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 350º.
  3. Put butter in baking dish (about 2 quart) and set in oven to melt butter.
  4. Make a batter of remaining 1/2 cup sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk.
  5. Pour this mixture over melted butter, but do not stir.
  6. Put the sugared peaches on top of the batter.
  7. Do not stir.
  8. Bake in 350° oven for about 1 hour.
