Old Fashioned Oatmeal With Bananas and Raisins

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In small pot bring the water and salt to boil.
  2. Slowly stir in the *oatmeal, using a fork to break up any lumps. Once boiling has subsided, cover pan and cook on medium-low for 10-12 minutes.
  3. Remove pan from heating element and let sit, covered, for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  4. Transfer oatmeal to serving bowl and top with the sliced bananas, raisins and brown sugar. Serve with milk or milk substitute on the side if you wish.
  5. *NOTE: for creamier consistency, add the oatmeal {{before}} bringing water to the boil.
  6. Yield: 1 large serving or 2 small servings.
