Monkeyboy Banana Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup unsalted margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp flour

Directions:

  1. Beat butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  2. Dissolve baking soda in water and add to batter; beat well.
  3. Add bananas.
  4. Add dry ingredients; blend.
  5. Pour chocolate chips into a separate bowl and mix with the remaining teaspoon of flour before adding to the batter (this can keep the chips from sinking to the bottom of the pan). Pour into a 9-inch square baking pan or bundt pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 45-50 minutes.
  7. Enjoy!
