Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
  2. Beat in Eggnog, baking soda and nutmeg.
  3. Gradually add flour and mix well.
  4. Cover and chill at least 1 hour.
  5. On a lightly floured surface roll out half of the dough to 1/8 thickness.
  6. Cut into desired shapes, place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Brush cookies with beaten egg white and sprinkle on colored sugar.
  8. Bake at 350 for 6-8 minutes.
  9. Remove to cool on a wire rack.
  10. This should make about 16 dozen cookies.
