Mamma's Friday Night Hearty Fish Soup

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Place oil in a large pot.
  2. Add onion, garlic, celery, carrots and green pepper, and saute over medium heat just until al dente.
  3. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, clam juice and potatoes.
  4. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  5. Add pepper, oregano and basil.
  6. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, or until potatoes are done.
  7. Add fish and wine.
  8. Cover and continue simmering for 10 minutes.
  9. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and basil.
