Mamaw's Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb potato
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 -3 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Peel and slice potatoes and boil in water till tender, put into a casserole dish.
  2. Melt butter and stir in flour until combined
  3. Add milk and stir till smooth and thick
  4. Add cheese and stir till melted.
  5. Pour over potatoes, cover with foil and cook for 40 minutes at 350°F.
