Indian Buttermilk Lassi With Cardamom

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cardamom pods (the seeds from...)
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1 -2 tsp rose water (optional)

Directions:

  1. Stir to dissolve the sugar in the water.
  2. Crush the cardamom seeds (with a rolling pin or pestle and mortar) and add them to sugar-water.
  3. Add all the rest of the ingredients; stir to blend.
  4. Chill and serve.
