Hearty Chicken And Rice Soup

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine broth, onion, celery, carrots, parsley, pepper, thyme and bay leaf in Dutch oven.
  2. Bring to a boil then stir once or twice.
  3. Reduce heat then simmer uncovered for 15 minutes.
  4. Add chicken then simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove and discard bay leaf.
  6. Stir in rice and lime juice just before serving.
  7. Garnish with lime slices.
