Gus's Spanish Rice

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In large skillet heat oil to medium- high heat.
  2. Add onions and saute until soft.
  3. Add the uncooked rice and cook until lightly browned.
  4. Transfer mixture to heavy bottomed pot add water and tomato sauce and bring to a boil stirring constantly.
  5. Reduce heat to low and add cilantro.
  6. Cover with a tight fitting lid, and cook for 20-25 minutes until all the liquid is gone.
  7. Fluff rice with a fork and serve hot.
  8. Enjoy!
