Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Grease muffin tins if not using paper liners.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the dry ingredients.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the milk and egg.
  5. Pour the milk/egg mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until moistened.
  6. Spoon batter into prepared muffin tins, filling each half full.
  7. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let rest in tins for 5 minutes, then finish cooling on cooling rack.
  9. Makes 12-15 muffins.
  10. NOTE: You can vary this recipe by adding some bacon bits and/or sprinkling shredded cheese on top of muffins during last 5 minutes of cooking time.
