Ingredients:

  • 3 -4 lbs beef roast (or for that matter pork roast)
  • 1 (2 oz) envelope onion soup mix
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 cups water

Directions:

  1. Put roast in crock pot and empty soup mix on the top of the meat.
  2. Add the water.
  3. Cook on low for about 6 hours.
  4. The soup acts as a meat tenderizer.
  5. Very good roast and makes excellent gravy.
