This would be excellent for a working family. You can add potatoes and carrots. When you get home your meal is done and all you have to do is thicken the juices and your meal is finished Ingredients:
3 -4 lbs beef roast (or for that matter pork roast) |
1 (2 ounce) envelope onion soup mix |
salt and pepper |
2 cups water |
Directions:
1. Put roast in crock pot and empty soup mix on the top of the meat. 2. Add the water. 3. Cook on low for about 6 hours. 4. The soup acts as a meat tenderizer. 5. Very good roast and makes excellent gravy. |
