Ingredients:

  • 1 medium onion, sliced thinly
  • 3/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. celery seed

Directions:

  1. Bring vinegar, sugar, oil and spices to a boil.
  2. Boil for 5 minutes and cool.
  3. Pour over cabbage, carrots and onion.
  4. Store in an ice cream pail.
  5. Keeps about 2 weeks in the fridge.
