Ingredients:

  • 1 cup peanuts
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 lemon , juice of
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 slices bread

Directions:

  1. Part 1:.To make the peanut butter: in the bowl of a food processor, combine the peanuts, salt and sugar on high speed. Pulse for 10-15 seconds until desired smoothness is reached.
  2. To make the jam: first chop the strawberries into small pieces. In a small sauce pan, combine the strawberries, sugar, lemon and salt. Allow to cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  3. Part 2:.To assemble the sandwich: Place the two slices of bread on a cutting board. On one slice, spread the peanut butter. On the other slice, spread the jam. Place together to form a sandwich, then cut on a diagonal. Serve.
