Ingredients:

  • 1 cup crisco
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 3 cups plain flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1- tbsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt three times and set aside. Cream Crisco, butter, vanilla, and sugar for 5 minutes. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour, bananas, and milk (alternately). Mix well. Bake in large tube pan for 11/4 to 11/2 hours at 300 F
