Ingredients:

  • 6 apples, sliced and peeled (about 2 1/2 lb)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Directions:

  1. Prepare apples and sprinkle with lemon juice.
  2. Mix together rest of the ingredients and gently toss until coated.
  3. Transfer apple mixture to prepared pastry shell.
  4. Sprinkle with cinnamon-flour mixture.
  5. Bake at 350° for about 45 minutes (until apples are soft and top is browned). (Time is estimate).
