Ingredients:

  • 4 cups rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup almonds
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In large bowl, toss together rolled oats, wheat germ, almonds, sunflower seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and raisins.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the oil, syrup, and extracts and then add to dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly until well coated.
  3. Divide mixture between two sheet pans and spread. Bake until golden, for about 30 minutes, stirring after 15 minutes so that it browns evenly. Cool completely and then store in a tightly covered jar.
