Ingredients:

  • 1 lb powdered sugar , sifted
  • 1/2 cup crisco shortening , plus
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp clear vanilla
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Blend all ingredients at low speed on mixer till well blended and easy to work with.
  2. Spread on cake after cake is completely cooled.
  3. This is enough frosting for 1 - 2 layer cake or 1 sheet cake.
