Ingredients:

  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. In a 1 1/2- to 2-quart pan over medium-high heat, bring 3/4 cup whipping cream, 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar, 2 tablespoons butter, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla to a boil. Cook, stirring often, until slightly thickened, about 3 minutes.
