Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. 1. Prepare grill for medium-high (350 to 400 degrees) DIRECT heat.
  2. 2. Using hands, gently combine beef, salt, and pepper. Shape into 2 (4-inch-wide) patties. Using thumb and forefinger, lightly press middle of patties, creating an indentation in center of patties. Let stand at room temperature 30 minutes.
  3. 3. Grill, covered with grill lid, to desired degree of doneness. (See chart at right for times.) Remove from grill, and let stand 5 minutes before serving.
