Ingredients:

  • 1 can of baby green peas (in class we used lesueur)
  • 1 tlbs sugar
  • 1 tlbs soften butter smooshed with 1 tlbs of flour (beurre blanc)
  • salt to taste

Directions:

  1. Bring your peas to a boil... add sugar let them continue to boil.
  2. Then add half of the Beurre Blanc and continue to stir gently while cooking on low/medium heat.
  3. Let cook an additional 3 to 5 minutes to cook the flavor of the raw flour out. If happy with the consistency then turn off heat and serve. If more thickness desired add the remainder of the Beurre Blanc and let cook 3 to 5 more minutes.
