Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. If cooked correctly, okra is not slimy or gummy but tender and delicious.
  2. Okra has low calories, no fat and lots of fiber.
  3. Steam okra according to package directions or well heated and tender.
  4. Do not overcook.
  5. Drain and mix in fresh chopped tomatoes.
  6. Season to taste with extra virgin olive oil, minced garlic, chopped basil, lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Fresh grated cheese is optional.
