Ingredients:

  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium potato
  • 1 1/2 lbs shrimp, raw
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Directions:

  1. Peel and de-vein shrimp.
  2. In food processor or grinder, grind onion potato and shrimp together.
  3. Stir in egg, salt and pepper. batter must be thick.
  4. Heat about 2 or 3 cups of oil in medium skillet to about 360 degrees F.
  5. Drop by spoonfulls into hot oil, fry until golden turning once or twice.
