Sausages With Broccoli

Ingredients:

  1. Prick sausages, place in a single layer in a large frying pan, add cold water to 1/2 inch. Bring to boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 20 minutes, turning from time to time. If the water evaporates too rapidly, add a bit more.
  2. Meanwhile, boil the broccoli in salted water for 4-5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. Pour off the fat from the skillet and wipe it out with a paper towel. Add the oil and brown the sausages briefly. Push them to one side and add the shallots, garlic and chile (or chile flakes). Cook for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add broth and lemon juice. Cook gently until reduced by half. Add broccoli and olives. Gently mix until heated through.
  5. Serve and enjoy.
