Pumpkin Pie (Better Homes & Gardens)

Ingredients:

  • 1 (16 oz) can 100% pumpkin puree
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 9 inches pie crusts

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine pumpkin, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt. Add eggs; with a fork, lightly beat eggs into pumpkin mixture.
  3. Add evaporated milk and milk, mix well.
  4. Place a crust lined 9-inch pie plate on oven rack, pour in pumpkin mixture. Cover edge of pie with foil. Bake at 375 for 25 minutes.
  5. Remove foil, bake for 25-30 minutes or until knife inserted off center comes out clean.
  6. Cool. Cover and chill to store.
